"Roberto Lugo: Hi-Def Archives" Exhibition Review

Good evening! Today's post will be about my experience viewing the Roberto Lugo: Hi-Def Archive exhibition at the Cincinnati Art Museum. Thanks to Western New Mexico University and the SRPD Program, I was able to attend this year's NCECA conference and the opening reception for this exhibition.  While attending the 2023 NCECA Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio, I attended the reception for the Roberto Lugo: Hi-Def Archives exhibition at the Cincinnati Art Museum. It was such a great experience to both see his work in person and see an exhibit curated by him. There is a sentence in the picture above that says "Lugo works to represent his culture, experience, and history in the enduring medium of ceramics and takes particular pride in representing people, communities, and lifestyles traditionally left out of ceramic histories."
